The Story Behind the Model
Make history at home! The Red Knight stands strong as an incredible example of historic armament and battle. The armor of the Red Knight is typical of the type that was used in the middle 15th century for grand tilt or joust competitions. Every line of this armor was made functional so that it served a full purpose. Each surface was shaped to defect blows from the opponent's weapons and to protect the wearer. A huge crest was sometimes attached to the helmet during this period, which identified the knight and his origin. You'll be fascinated by the extensive details and the historic representation of this knight! And if you like this model, be sure to check out the Revell Black Night of Nurnberg.
